The La Vergne Wolverines haven't been in the playoffs since 2006. That is until this year. They defeated Siegel 56-to-23 and punched a ticket to the playoffs for just the fourth time in school history. The Wolverines tallied over 500 yards in total offense. Running back RoShea Grays had over 320 yards on 25 carries and scored three touchdowns for La Vergne, which went 5-and-5 in the regular season. Siegel's season finishes at 3-and-7.

After the school's first ever 10-and-oh regular season last year, Oakland finishes the regular season this year on a high. They defeated Stewarts Creek 54-7 at Ray Hughes Stadium Thursday night. After opening the season with a district loss at Blackman, the Patriots have gone 9-and-oh.
