Murfreesboro Parks and Rec. making a difference with children on stage

The Murfreesboro Parks and Rec. Department is making a difference in the lives of children on the stage, which allows kids to feel more confident in school.

From working the spotlight to standing in it, Theatre Camp allowed the participants to explore the world of theatre. The classes ranged from character development to theatre superstitions to hitting you mark on the stage to delivering the all important line during the play.

Five days of camp that concluded with a small production on the stage at Washington Theatre at Patterson Park Community Center.
