Linebaugh Public Library will be hosting local author, D.F. Jones, from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 16. She will be selling and signing copies of book, Ruby's Choice, published by D.F. Jones in 2015.

After graduating from MTSU, Jones worked as a broadcast consultant at the ABC Affiliate in Nashville, which led to her later opening her own ad agency. After years of developing creative advertising for clients through her media company, Jones had the compelling desire to write something for herself. That desire turned into her debut novel, Ruby's Choice.

Ruby's Choice, the debut novel of the Ditch Lane Diaries, is a coming of age story with a splash of the paranormal set in the late 1970's in Middle Tennessee. Ever since Ruby discovered an amber-encased spider web in the Campbell Ridge Cave, she has had dreams of births, deaths and glimpses into the future. Ruby is drawn into a college dating game by two handsome suitors, Brent and Reed. Ruby figures out pretty darn quick the love triangle is part of a stupid game and tries to turn it around. Will Ruby end up losing out on Mr. Right for a chance to win a dating game? One thing is for sure, Ruby is no pawn. Who will be Ruby's Choice?

The author will be signing and selling copies of her book for $10 each, cash only.
