Community Welcomes Joe & Melissa Irvin

The Salvation Army opened its doors to welcome new officers to the local community. Captains Joe and Melissa Irvin began their service to the Rutherford County community just this week. An open house and welcome event was held at the Salvation Army Thursday.

The Irvin's moved to Murfreesboro from Bristol, Tennessee, where they served five years. Before that, they were in Memphis for four-years. They've also served in Middlesboro, Kentucky, and Knoxville. They take over after the Salvation Army relocated the Seiler's to Roanoke, Virginia.
