Paramedics Bill Moyers and Wayne Fountain

Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services' Paramedics Bill Moyers and Wayne Fountain rushed to a La Vergne, Tennessee home where a man was having a heart attack. The family asked that he be taken to StoneCrest, but the paramedics said that was probably not the best plan. They told the ambulance service personnel to then take him to Vanderbilt. As he was being transferred to the hospital bed at Vanderbilt, the La Vergne male stopped breathing. His wife credits Fountain and Moyers with putting into place what saved her husband's life. Physicians were there with him and they brought him back to life.
