Ten Vehicles Broken Into on Friday

Ten vehicles were broken into at the Murfreesboro Water and Sewer Department on Friday. A former employee by the name of Ryan Thompson was arrested and charged with the thefts. Thompson reportedly got onto the city property by climbing over a barbed wire fence. The 27-year old Murfreesboro man was also charged with vandalism after allegedly damaging several computers, a fence and the cars that were broken into. The thefts and vandalism was valued at several thousand dollars. The man is currently being held at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center under a $131-thousand bond.
