Habitat for Humanity YARD SALE is this Saturday!

Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Beth Smith is touting the fun and savings to be enjoyed at their first Yard Sale that begins at 9:00 o'clock this Saturday morning in front of the Habitat Re-Store at 850 Mercury Boulevard.

Smith noted that donations to be sold in Saturday's yard sale are still being accepted, and can be dropped off at the store. Smith explained that all of the proceeds will go toward helping local residents who qualify for the opportunity of purchasing a Habitat home. She stressed, "It's not a gift, and a combination of sweat equity and ability to make monthly mortgage payments are part of the equation."

Habitat Re-Store Manager Shari Goodall was especially appreciative of the staff at Advantage Home Improvement who have sponsored and helped coordinate this coming Saturday's giant yardsale at habitat for Humanity. The event begins at 9:00 o'clock and continues until 3:00 this Saturday afternoon (9/8/2012).
