The man believed to be responsible for shooting at a home on Hale Avenue in Murfreesboro has been arrested. The shooting happened on September 5th. According to witnesses, 34-year old Lamon L. McGowan was seen running from the home with a pistol in hand after a window of the home was shot. The bullet entered the window, narrowly missing a person who was asleep in the bedroom of the residence. The bullet then became lodged in a hallway wall.
Police collected four .40-caliber bullet casings from the middle of the street near the home after the shooting was reported. McGowan was developed as a suspect in the case after it was realized that he was not only seen near the home at the time of the shooting, but he also use to date a woman who lives at the address.
McGowan will appear in court on October 8th.
