Womack Stables on Barfield Crescent Road has been sold and is now under new ownership and management. The business is now called ThorSport Farm, named after owner Duke Thorson. Thorson, who lives in Sandusky, Ohio, bought the farm to continue training Tennessee Walking horses. He is also building a 20,000 square foot indoor arena. The new business owner will also convert a breeding barn into a showroom to sell paint. His paint business is called FarmPaint.com. According to the website, the company sales Barn & Fence Paint, Dust Control, Roof & Foundation Coatings, Asphalt Driveway Coatings, Concrete Coatings, and more. Before the business can open a showroom for paint, they will have to meet the approval of the county commission during their upcoming October 11th meeting.
