The state's largest subdivision is in La Vergne. Lake Forest has over three-thousand homes. However, there's no public playground there. There is now an effort in the north Rutherford County town to build a community playground for children. With costs up to 150-thousand dollars to build it, residents are working to raise money. La Vergne Mayor Senna Mosley says there is about 50-thousand in next year's budget for the project. That leaves the rest up to the community and volunteers.
