La Vergne Public Library Selling Books

Feeding your brain is inexpensive at the La Vergne Public Library. Patrons may borrow books for free six days a week.  On Saturday, however, visitors to the library may pay a nominal fee to take books home and keep them. The La Vergne Public Library is holding its biannual book sale on Saturday, October 13 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. 

Books, DVDs, and CDs will be available at the book sale.  Monetary donations in an amount shoppers believe is appropriate will be accepted for the items they select.  Money will fund book collections, library services, and programs throughout the year.  Past book sale events have resulted in total donations that range from $600 to $2000, according to Teresa Wilberscheid, library director.

The library will accept donations throughout the year, whether monetary or in the form of donated books, CD’s, and DVD’s.  The library is located at5063 Murfreesboro Roadin La Vergne.
