What Smyrna police are calling a murder-suicide leaves the community in shock. The discovery of the bodies of 37-year old Adytia Romotar and his 34-year old ex-wife Sharon Forbes was made by their eight year old child. Police were called just after 6:30 Saturday morning when the child went to a neighbor's home on Bolton Drive, carrying a gun. There were two other children inside the home besides the eight-year old at the time of the murder-suicide. The six year old and the eight-year old were children of the estranged couple. Also, the two-year old nephew of Forbes was inside, all asleep when the incident occurred. Both of the older children are students at Stewartsboro Elementary. The children are in the care of the Department of Children's Services.
