A 20-year old Murfreesboro woman was charged with abuse of the 9-1-1 system on Wednesday. Qutoya Z. Alexander apparently wanted to retrieve her bed and food out of a home on Rivera Drive. No word on why her property was located in the home.

According to a police report, Alexander’s home address is on Naylor Avenue. Police say when they arrived at the home they told her she could not retrieve the food, because officers could not determine who it belonged to. After police told her she could not take the food, she allegedly walked off and called 9-1-1 three more times. Each time, she reportedly told the dispatcher that the police failed to arrive. Officers on the scene placed her in handcuffs and took her to jail where she was booked under a $1,000 bond.
