The Murfreesboro Police Department Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT) is currently investigating a two vehicle injury crash that occurred on South Church Street near the intersection of Butler Drive on Friday afternoon.

After a preliminary investigation, FACT investigators believe a black Toyota Corolla operated by Ms. Tammy Lee Cone (age 48 of Amanda Way, Murfreesboro) was traveling south on South Church Street just north of Butler Drive. Her vehicle attempted to turn left across the northbound lanes and enter the Kangaroo Market at 2610 South Church Street. The vehicle was struck on the passenger side by a red Dodge Neon traveling north on South Church Street. The northbound vehicle was operated by Rilee S. Hughes (age 20 of East Chestnut Street, Murfreesboro).
