Hollyday Marketplace, a boutique style craft show spotlighting local vendors from the Middle Tennessee area, will boast two ballrooms of vendors selling a multitude of handcrafted items including candles, jewelry, adult and children’s clothing, furniture, and holiday decorations.

The proceeds from Hollyday Marketplace benefit Greenhouse Ministries and other local non-profit organizations supported by the Junior League of Murfreesboro. In 2011, the event generated more than $10,000 for these organizations.

"Hollyday Marketplace is the cornerstone of fundraising for our league, said Tara Driver, 2012 Hollyday Marketplace Co-Chair."The funds we raise through Hollyday Marketplace make it possible for us to financially support our mission of building better communities.  We are able to fund scholarships, donate to local charities and meet the needs of our community through the success of this annual event."

This year's event will feature a raffle for a $1,000 shopping spree to The Avenue.  Raffle tickets are $5 each and will be sold at the event with the drawing to take place at 5:00 on November 17.  Only 1,000 tickets will be sold for the raffle, so chances of winning will be one in one thousand. An additional feature will be "Pictures with Presents" from 9:00am – 1:00pm.  Joy Chambers Photography will be taking Christmas-themed pictures for a $5 sitting fee which will benefit the Hollyday Marketplace proceeds.  Portrait packages will be available for an additional cost.

Tickets to the 2012 Hollyday Marketplace may be purchased ahead of the event for $5 from any Junior League of Murfreesboro member or at the following locations: Mills Family Pharmacy, Reeves-Sain (both locations), F&M Bank, CB&S Bank, The Write Impression, Carla & Co, E. Allen, Merle Norman, Mimi’s Boutique, Bella’s Boutique, Bombshells, Harmony Home, Murfreesboro Medical Clinic, Trendy Pieces, Corner Cleaners (Shelbyville), and Youthful You (Shelbyville) Tickets purchased at the event are $7.

Vendor booths are also still available and the vendor application is located on the home page of www.jlmonline.org. Vendor applications should be submitted no later than November 9.
