Amazon.com Donates Kindle E-Readers to Local School

The new Amazon.com location on Joe B. Jackson Parkway is helping the community. On Thursday, the company donated 40-Kindle E-Readers to students at Scales Elementary School in Murfreesboro.  Amazon also gave the school $2,500 to add content to the E-Readers.

The city schools said that the E-Readers will help students become better readers.

Why would they choose this school it is one of newer schools ? There are other schools who could used this support.

Nope, nor do I know of anyone that received one either. It's just that this was a positive story, and you turned it into a negative thing. I think we, as residents of this fine city, should appreciate when things are donated to our school children.
