The "Old Ball Coach," Steve Spurrier was in Murfreesboro to speak to those in attendance at this year's Boys and Girls Clubs Stake and Burger Dinner. He says he's impressed by the work of the organization here in Rutherford County...

Spurrier won seven football conference titles and a national championship while at Florida and South Carolina, winning over 72-percent of the games he coached.

This year's Stake and Burger Dinner, which was held Tuesday night at World Outreach Church, raised nearly 160-thousand dollars that will benefit the 25-hundred plus members of the local Boys and Girls Club.
