One of two suspects turns himself in to Smyrna Police on Wednesday

On June 26th Smyrna Police released information seeking the individuals responsible for the purse snatching and assault of a local victim. According to Smyrna Chief of Police Kevin Arnold, the victim was dragged by the suspect car after they had stolen her purse.

On Wednesday, one suspect turned himself in. Smyrna resident Christopher Gonzales, 22 years of age, was charged with Theft over $500.  Gonzalez has been very cooperative and has even returned some of the victims property, according to authorities.

The driver of the vehicle has not been located yet and may be in hiding. His name is Aaron Moss, 20 years of age, (5’10” tall, 190 pounds).  Moss was known to be in the Lebanon area, but has ties to Memphis and Cordova, Tennessee. There are active warrants on Moss for Aggravated Assault and Theft over $500.
