Over $6,000 in Cash Found in Glove Box of Car

Two Murfreesboro men were arrested after police found a felony amount of cocaine under the passenger side seat of a truck owned by 25-year old Kendell Beard on Monday. Police found the drugs after approaching the subject on Eagle Street to discuss his probation status. Also arrested with Beard was 24-year old Rafael Butler. Officers found over $6,000 in cash in the glove box of Beard’s truck. In trying to determine where the cash came from, police asked the two men if they were employed. Both men told officers they were not employed and police seized the money. Both Beard and Butler were then charged with felony possession of a schedule two drug. The duo will appear in court on February 27th
