An Antioch man is said to have gone to a Murfreesboro brick manufacture to buy over $7,000 in bricks. What may sound like a good sell quickly turned negative when Alley Cassetty on the New Salem Highway found out the check was written from a closed account.

According to a Murfreesboro Police Report, the check was written on December 11, 2015. Since that date, the brick company says that they have given an ample amount of time to the suspect to repay the debt. The report shows that the bad check writer even apologized and agreed to correct the problem. However, as of February 2, 2016, the $7,806.63 problem has yet to be fixed. Furthermore, he quit answering calls on his phone.

The case is now being investigated by police and has been labeled as a "Worthless Check Over $5,000" case. In other words, the suspect is facing felony charges for writing a check. Police have the suspects name, address and even drivers license number.
