Park Lane Suspect Wanted by RCSO & MPD Arrested at Wal-Mart

A 24-year old Park Lane man, wanted by the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department and Murfreesboro Police was arrested on Friday.

Murfreesboro Police Officer Aaron Price reports he responded to the Wal-Mart on Joe B. Jackson Parkway Friday afternoon at 4:30 in an effort to locate Andre Johnson. He was last seen fleeing sheriff's deputies on foot the day before.

Officer Price reports getting information that Johnson would be at the Wal-Mart location. Plain clothed officers spotted a black male in the back seat of a Ford Mustang.

After confirming it was Johnson, officers moved in. While apprehending Johnson, a black pistol was discovered in the back seat of the Mustang.

Johnson was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, resisting arrest and nine total warrants, including one for assault. He's in the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center, with bond set at 38-thousand, 500 dollars.
