The 13.1-mile course starts and stops at MTSU's Dean Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium and the course is around the beautiful flat and tree-lined Murfreesboro historic district. The Murfreesboro Half Marathon course has been certified as accurate in measurement according to the standards adopted by the USATF Road Running Technical Council. Pedestrian Struck by Car

A pedestrian was struck by a car in front of the Gondolier restaurant on Broad Street. The person who was hit by a car was not seriously injured and was transported to Middle Tennessee Medical Center with neck and back pain. The accident happened on Tuesday morning at around 11:00.
