Planning to shoot off fireworks in Murfreesboro this year?

Residents who live in the City Limits of Murfreesboro have until 10 PM, Tuesday to shoot off their last round of fireworks for the season. That information according to the ordinances set by the Murfreesboro City Council several years ago.

Re-loadable fireworks are a no-no in the city limits. However, if you live in the county you are given the "ALL CLEAR" to fire mortar type reloadable fireworks.

Fireworks may only be used within the city limits until Tuesday (July 5th) between the hours of 10:00 am and 10:00 pm; except on the Fourth of July, fireworks may be used until 11:00 pm.

It is also unlawful for any person to use any item of fireworks on private property without the consent of the property owner or for any person to use any item of fireworks on public property including public streets.
