Play in the 16th Annual Special Kids Golf Classic on Thursday, May 7

Local nonprofit Special Kids Therapy & Nursing Center announced Tuesday that team spots are still available in its 16th Annual Special Kids Golf Classic on Thursday, May 7, at Indian Hills Golf Course in Murfreesboro.

The annual fundraiser presented by Nissan has only 7 team spaces open in its afternoon tournament and several more in its morning round. The four-person scramble will enjoy appetizers and lunch from Smoothie King, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Slick Pig BBQ and will compete to win prizes from Indian Hills and other local businesses.

Registration is $600 per team of four or $150 per individual. For a $250 sponsorship, organizations will have their company name listed on a tee sign at one of the 18 holes. Higher level sponsorships are also available and already include Nissan as the presenting sponsor and major sponsors Slick Pig BBQ, Metro Carpets, SEC Inc, Tri-Star Title and Escrow, Aetna, Country Financial, Yates Services, FirstFleet, and Middle Tennessee Electric Customers Care.

Special Kids is a Christian therapy and nursing center for children with special needs. The Murfreesboro-based ministry started with one child in 1998 and has grown to serve over 2,700 children from 18 counties in middle Tennessee.
