A worker at the Subway restaurant on Old Fort Parkway called the police when a customer asked questions about the amount of money in the store cash register. The worker told police the man repeatedly put his hand on the front of his pants as if he were holding a firearm.

When police arrived, the worker at the eatery told police the subject went into the bathroom. When officers made contact with 33-year old Brian Bradley outside the restroom, he told police that he had no intention to rob the store, but instead wanted to order a salad. Police later recovered a 9mm Beretta handgun in the restroom trashcan along with an extended magazine. Bradley admitted to bringing the gun into Subway and stated that he did indeed throw it into the trashcan of the restroom. He further told police he carried the gun ever since his brother Anthony Davis was murdered several years ago. He also advised he was a "mid-level" drug dealer, according to the police arrest report filed by the MPD.

Because Bradley had prior felony drug convictions, he was charged with "Possession of a Firearm by a Felon." Bradley was also confirmed to be a member of the Mafia Insane Vice Lords gang which originated in Chicago. The subject not only had the tattoos to prove his gang affiliation, he also told police he held the rank of a Five Star Branch Elite within the gang.

Bradley is currently free on bond and will appear in court on October 7, 2015.
