Police Stop Yields Alabama Fugitive

(MURFREESBORO) - A routine police stop for possible illegal tint on car windows leads to the arrest of a fugitive wanted in Elmore County, Alabama. According to the Murfreesboro Police report, Charles Magyer, Jr. of Creekview Drive in Murfreesboro, was pulled over Friday afternoon around 3:45. Officer O'Rourke reports after stopping the vehicle, the 26-year old exited the vehicle and began to walk away. When asked to stop, Magyer complied. A warrent check after the stop revealed a hold for failure to appear. Magyer was taken to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center and is being held for Elmore County officials.
