Officers accompanied the children as they selected toys and clothing for their Christmas presents. The 33 children were selected by Murfreesboro City School staff based on the financial situation of each family.

Chief of Police Glenn Chrisman stated: “The chance to spend time with these children is priceless, but to help make their Christmas wonderful is a blessing. I would like to thank Wal-Mart for hosting this event as well as all of the donors and police officers that helped make Christmas possible for these young children.”
