Police had to respond to the Jackson Motel on Broad Street for a report of a drug overdose. The call was in regards to two men who were unresponsive, according to a police report.

When paramedics arrived on the scene they were given a key by motel management to enter the room. Inside, emergency workers found 57 year old Clarence Robinson along with a 27 year old by the same last name "un-responsive." The two men were quickly transported to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

Police then entered the room and found signs of heroin use. According to the report, "Once inside the room several items commonly used in the consumption of heroin could be seen in plain sight on the table and the night stand."

After Clarence Robinson recovered at the hospital, he was arrested and charged with possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia or activities and failure to appear in court for a past charge. He is currently being held without bond in the local jail. The younger Robinson, whose full name we are not releasing because an arrest was not made, was issued a misdemeanor citation upon his release.
