A man and a woman in a 2008 Cadillac were stopped for failing to use a signal when turning into Tremont Apartments in Murfreesboro. Once stopped, police located 13 Dexedrine and Adderall pills. Both pills are typically prescribed for ADHD patients. They also found Oxymorphone pills for mild pain in patients along with 35 Alprazolam pills that are used for anxiety.

Police arrested the driver of the car who was identified as 50 year old Larry Joe Russel, Jr. and charged him with two felony drug charges and one simple possession charge for the pills. The passenger was allowed to leave on foot.

The police report showed that the car belonged to Russell's mother, but he evidently told police he did not want to call her to pick up the Cadillac, so it was towed away. While the car was not seized, over $500 in cash was seized along with Russell's cellphone.

Russell will be in court on June 14, 2016. He is currently free on bond.
