Pretrial motions are taking place Wednesday to determine if there will be a new judge in the case involving the murder of MTSU Lady Raider Tina Stewart. The attorney for Shanterrica Madden has asked the judge to recuse himself suggesting he lacks impartiality in the case. Madden allegedly stabbed Stewart to death in March of this year in their off campus apartment. The lawyer for Madden has also asked for a change of venue for the trial. The attorney says there was too much media coverage of the star basketball players death.
