In Rutherford County, the 911 emergency line has stopped working. This is the second time that the issue has occurred.

On Wednesday, the line went dead after a fiber line was accidentally cut which affected some 7,000 customers. Then again on Thursday morning around 3AM, the line went dead a second time. Local authorities have been working with AT&T to restore the line this (Thursday) morning.
