"Promotion of Prostitution" was the charge filed in Murfreesboro against a 41-year old Hermitage woman. April Michelle Parker was arrested on Wednesday at the Regal Inn.

The female was arrested after police received a phone call in regards to possible prostitution at the motel. Once on the scene they met with two females in the Regal Inn parking lot. Parker told officers that she posted an ad on BackPage.com for "Escort Services which involves sexual favors in exchange for monetary gain." Parker said she was at the motel on South Church Street after receiving a response from someone staying at the Regal.

Upon further questioning, Parker said she arrived at the motel by way of her friend Alisha Davis driving her there. She even stated that her friend knew she was taking her to that location to engage in sexual activities. A search of the car they arrived in turned up several crack pipes and needles with some type of residue on them.

Officers then turned their attention to 37-year old Davis who reportedly had a small amount of crack with her, according to the report. The report stated, "Ms. Davis later admitted to transporting Ms. Parker from Nashville to 2025 South Church Street in order to become engaged in sexual activity in exchange for monetary gain."

Parker was charged with not only "Promotion of Prostitution," which is a felony in this case, but also "Possession of Drug Paraphernalia."

Davis was charged with "Trafficking a person for Sexual Servitude," which is also a felony. She was also charged with "Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Schedule Two Drug."

The two women will appear in a Rutherford County Courtroom on December 8, 2015.
