Purse Snatching

Scroll up on WGNSradio.com for an updated story on this incident... A woman was slightly hurt in a purse snatching outside the Memorial Boulevard Kroger. The 68-year old victim told police last Thursday as she was putting groceries in her car around 2:30 in the afternoon, a man came up behind her and stole her purse. Inside was 300-bucks in cash, five credit cards and her phone. Witnesses say the suspect was a black male, likely in his early 20's, and was seen leaving in the scene in a maroon older model sedan. The vehicle was driven by another suspect. If you have any information, please call Murfreesboro Police.
