Readyville woman arrested for alleged shoplifting and drugs

A 35-year old Readyville woman has been arrested after allegedly stealing shaving razors, hairbands and deodorant from the Walmart store on South Rutherford Boulevard. A loss prevention worker apparently caught Lori Sullins in the store and witnessed her pass all points of payment without paying for the merchandise.

Once police arrived, she consented to a search of her purse where a needle and a cut straw were found. Officers also found 26 Oxycodone's and 61 Alprazolam's . Alprazolam is used to treat anxiety and Oxycodone is typically prescribed for pain management, according to Drugs.com.

The police report shows that officers questioned Sullins and she admitted to selling Oxycodone for $10 per pull and Alprazolam for $3 a pill. As a result, the woman was charged accordingly and also charged with shoplifting. Sullins will be in court on March 16, 2016.
