"We're so excited to open registration for the race this year," said Stephanie Folkmann, Director of Development. "Over the past three years, this event has truly turned into a community-wide celebration of the children we serve."

The race is an annual fundraiser for the local nonprofit Special Kids, a Christian therapy and nursing center serving children with special needs and their families. Race participants can go even further to help the children by joining impact Special Kids, an online fundraising community that bridges creativity and imagination with the nuts and bolts of raising needed dollars. Impact members can participate as individuals or create their own team to walk or run for Special Kids. To get started or discover more information, visit specialkidsrace.org.

Race sponsorships are available for local businesses to join MMC in supporting the event. To learn more, contact Stephanie Folkmann at sfolkmann@specialkidstn.com or 615.893.4892.
