Riverdale Beats Smyrna 20-7

It was penalty-laiden game, both teams with double-digit penalties. The Warriors also were able to capitolize several times in third and very long yardage situations to keep the chains moving. Riverdale quarterback Cortland Owens was 12-of-15 passing for 213-yards while running back Austin Bryant carried the ball 16-times for 52-yards. Smyrna Q-B John Turner was 10-of-20 passing for 90-yards and running back Kyle Smith had eight carries for 70-yards.

Smyrna's season ends at 6-and-5. Riverdale improves to 9-and-2. They move on to play at Blackman next week. The Blaze were 49-14 winners over Cane Ridge.
