Riverdale scored the first two touchdowns of the game, but Smyrna, with just over one-minute to go in the half, finally got the offense going. After a long punt return for a touchdown was called back because of a penalty, the Bulldogs quarterback John Turner goes deep and finds an unlikely target...

It would be a long night for the Smyrna offense. Turner was 9-of-21 passing for 116 yards and one interception. The Bulldogs only had 96 yards rushing. Meanwhile, Riverdale amassed 247-yards on the ground and 212 in the air for 459-yards.

Both Riverdale and Smyrna are playoff bound. In fact, they may very well play each other next Friday night again in the first round of the playoffs. The playoff brackets will be announced on Saturday morning by the TSSAA. Smyrna ends the regular season 6-and-4 while Riverdale went 8-and-2.
