The woman who told police that she and a friend were robbed at gunpoint while walking down Chaffin Place near Old Fort Parkway last week has been arrested. 28-Year old Jacqueline N. Mangrum allegedly made up the entire story. According to a police report, Mangrum was trying to buy marijuana from several individuals when one of the drug dealers stole her money. Mangrum apparently thought the police would help her get her cash back if she told the officers that she was robbed at gunpoint. Her reported plan failed to work and Mangrum was arrested and charged with filing a false report. She will appear in court on October 2.
