A 22-year old Rockvale woman is facing jailtime after being stopped by police on Bradyville Pike at Tyler Court. Ashley Beth Emamalie was stopped by Murfreesboro Police Officer Jacob Fountain Friday night for a traffic violation. When questioned by the officer, the suspect was said to be visibly shaking and even called her boyfriend to say she was scared. When Officer Fountain went back to his patrol car to conduct a routine driver license check, Emamalie reportedly fled the scene on foot. She was located just a short distance away. After being escorted back, she asked for her flip flops. That's when the officer smelled marijuana coming from the car along with burnt Brillo, which is commonly used to smoke crack. A search of Emamalie's vehicle revealed 22-grams of marijuana in the trunk. She faces several charges, including felony possession of marijuana, evading arrest and driving on a revoked license. She'll be in court September 9th to answer to the charges and her bond has been placed on hold due to a previous felony capias for her arrest.
