The cold weather will delay the start of school Thursday. Because of the single digit temperatures and windchill that is forecast for Thursday morning, Rutherford County Schools spokesman James Evans says all schools will open two hours late.
Two hours late means all morning bell times and bus stop times will begin two hours later than normal. So if your children normally catch the bus at 6:30 a.m., for example, they will catch the bus at 8:30 a.m. The same applies for school starting times.
