RuCo Snow: The Have & Have Nots

After a disappointing day for snow lovers, Mother Nature finally gave, at least, some here in Rutherford County a taste of the white stuff. Places like Fosterville, Eagleville and Barfield were the snow "haves," while other locations in the county were the big "have nots." Up to an inch of snow fell in southern Rutherford County, covering roads and blanketing yards. If you find that hard to believe, check out WGNSRadio.com, keyword snow to see a few pictures our Twitter friends shared with us. One to three inches was forecast for our area, but temperatures warmed a few degrees above freezing for much of the day Wednesday, leaving us in mostly rain, until after sunset. That's when the south end of the county cashed in on the white stuff. Temperatures are expected to head upward in the coming days. A look at the WGNS Weather Eye forecast is coming up.
