Monday will not be your day to renew your automobile tags or to apply for a new license plate. The Rutherford County Clerk's office (Murfreesboro and Smyrna offices) cannot currently process motor vehicle documentation as the state computer system is experiencing technical difficulties. The Clerk will announce to when the system is up and running again, hopefully in the near future.
