Rutherford County Fire and Rescue receives new lower ISO rating

More good news from the Rutherford County Fire and Rescue Department… The Insurance Services Office (ISO) concluded its review of the fire suppression features being provided by the department and the resulting community classification is 5/9. The former rating was 7/9. This lowers the fire rating by two points in the Barfield, Salem Blackman, Rockvale and the Buchanan areas of Rutherford County.

The lowering of the rating is actually a good thing. This lower rating benefits the citizens of Rutherford County in lowering the Insurance cost on their home owners insurance.
