  • RUTHERFORD COUNTY MARCH FOR BABIES AMBASSADOR - THE LYONS FAMILY

"Born at 28 weeks due to a ruptured placenta and weighing 2.0 lbs, Journey Lyons was given a very slim chance of survival. Journey was placed on a ventilator right after her birth, and my little fighter no longer needed it after the first 24-48 hours. I just remember the doctor saying, "Journey continues to exceed expectations, and she is a feisty little fighter, a true miracle baby!" Journey may have been very small but oh so mighty, what we like to call Lyons-Strong."
