As part of the seat belt campaign, sheriff's deputies will conduct a seat belt checkpoint from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, May 26 at Daniel McKee School on Halls Hill Pike.

The checkpoint is part of the annual National "Click it or Ticket" Mobilization. The Sheriff's Office is partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office to increase seat belt enforcement from Monday, May 23 to Sunday, June 5, during the Memorial Day weekend, one of the busiest travel weekends of the year.
