Salvation Army Cooling Station

  Email   Print

Many people are trying to find ways to beat the triple-digit heat. Lieutenant Andrew Seiler with the local Salvation Army says they've opened a cooling station at their West Main Street location, which is just off Highway 99...

The cooling station at the Salvation Army will be open weekdays until at least next Tuesday from 8am until 4pm. Seiler says anytime there is a heat advisory in effect for Rutherford County or triple-digit temperatures are forecast, they will have the facility open to help citizens beat the heat.
