The Saturday Night Bash attracted a few hundred Murfreesboro Center for the Arts patrons to 100 East College Street, and discoed the night way under the twinkling mirrored ball. This was the theatre's seventh annual fundraiser. There was even an "Elvis sighting" where the theatre was packed with party goers wearing bell bottom trousers and fringed jackets.

Murfreesboro Center for the Arts Executive Director Patience said, "The Bash is one the events many of our patrons look forward to attending each year because they know they are guaranteed an exciting evening of delicious food, dancing to a wonderful band, and fun with friends. I kept hearing rave reviews about the disco theme, great music and delicious food."

Party-goers received huge bargains at a silent auction including vacation destinations, an original piece of furniture by Dayton Brown and a signed Kenny Chesney guitar.

Maple Street Grill supplied the disco dinner while popular dance band Mosaic Rhythm kept the disco beat at a Saturday night fever level.

Proceeds supported the mission and upkeep of The Center for the Arts, which, in addition to producing eleven theatrical productions a year, showcases the work of local artists in its gallery, offers a wide range of youth programming, and partners with several local arts oriented non-profits.

Make it a point to support the upcoming season at the Murfreesboro Center for the Arts, 110 W. College Street. Phone them at 615-904-2787 or check their website: www.boroarts.org.
