More than 140 former graduates of Kittrell School gathered this past Saturday (9/20/2014) for the annual school reunion.
Great Memories
The Kittrell Graduating Class of 1931 were in the spotlight this year. There was an award for the oldest graduate present and the one traveling the longest distance to the reunion.
The annual get together was held at Kittrell Elementary School that's located at 7801 Old Woodbury Pike in Readyville.
Among those attending the 2014 Kittrell School Reunion were former faculty members (left to right) Darwin Milligan, Oma McNabb, Nancy McNabb (also the oldest graduate present, from the Class of 1940), Ben Cates (1962 graduate), Steve Cates(1959 graduate), Violet Ognio, and Bob Burden.
The day was filled with fellowship, and Jerry Robinson, another Kittrell alumni, provided lunch from the Slick Pig Barbecue.
