Well, that’s one way to get a new TV… An unknown man thought he would help himself to a brand new TV at Walmart without paying for it. His actions apparently worked.
The culprit entered the store on Wednesday around noon and headed to the electronic department. He quickly grabbed a 37” HDTV and placed it in his buggy. The male then headed to the fire door where he quietly made his way out. The opening of the door caught the attention of loss prevention workers, but it was too late. The subject fled the scene in a truck.
Shoplifting is UP in Rutherford County as we head closer to Christmas. Store owners should be on full alert as more and more criminals like this one, are becoming more brazen taking bigger and more expensive items.
