Security a top concern for the new Rutherford County Judicial Building

Current businesses like MOAB that are located on the future construction site will be torn down in January of 2016, which will make way for the construction of the new court building.

The current judicial building on the local square will be used as county office space. The District Attorney office, which was originally built as a bank in the early 1900's, may be torn down as it is in dire need of repair. However, that has not officially been decided. If it is torn down, it could be used as green space.
